The city enacts cycles of planting, extraction, disposal—preempting nature’s rhythms with controlled efficiency.

 

Trees are shaped, severed, erased before change can unfold. This work repositions botanical remnants as flesh, unsettling utility with intimacy. It lingers on what dispassionate systems reveal—about control, disposability, and who we become within such logics.
