Geylang Claypot Rice is a 30 year old establishment. The food as much as its locality back at its original space at Geylang Lorong 33 are intertwined together.
Its open kitchen, tiled walls with cheesy beer advertisements, Light box signage, melamine tableware were all part of the experience. To its owner, it was a place where regulars could bring in a catch and request the kitchen chef to whip something up.
It was a precious establishment.

To maintain the coffee shop atmosphere while creating a more contemporary space that would attract a younger crowd.

The choice of material amd elements were taken from the typical 80s coffeeshop: Terrazzo, Tiled walls, Solid surface tables, Pebble wash surface, painted slated timber doors.
Its colours completely bold and rioting, almost graphical
