Mixed weave of cotton and nylon creates a distinctive grid due to the difference in tension of the material in the fabric

 LUMPY  

1st Prototype

100% Cotton weave/fiberglass/wire mesh

C1 : S2 : W3

-  has honeycombing and difficult

  to reach areas at the creases.
- takes on texture of gingham fabric
- we were told a seat is not a chair

- is restrained and uptight
- adjusted angle of sag

- petroleum oil on fabric to

  ease removal of formwork
- colour run from fabric

  caused checkered prints

4th Prototype

Portland Cement/ Linen Duck Weave Canvas 3-prong legs reinforced bars/ fibreglass/ wire mesh

C2 : S2 : W3

- is lifted from the ground

  on slender rebars, he thinks his classy
- Portland Cement for a cleaner finish
- varied position of holes to ensure  

  creases to be filled.
